The VILLAge™ Replacement Wool Wraps are made from 100% unprocessed Finnsheep wool, designed for use with VILLAge raw wool leg wraps for horses. Rich in natural lanolin, these wool wraps provide warmth, skin care, and effective leg support with visible results.

 

Sold in pairs, the replacement wool allows you to maintain the full therapeutic benefits of your VILLAge wool wraps when the original wool has been absorbed or worn out.

Why Unprocessed Finnsheep Wool?

Unlike washed or treated wool, VILLAge™ wool is carded but otherwise unprocessed. This means the wool still contains its original sheep wax — lanolin — which is the key caring property of the product.

How to Use

1. Always apply the wool to a clean, dry leg

2. Wrap the wool evenly around the leg

3. Cover completely with a bandage to keep the wool dry

4. Leave on overnight for best results

For shorter use, the wraps can also be applied:

• After training

• During transportation

• As part of a recovery routine

 

Important Usage & Care Instructions

• Best treatment results are achieved with overnight use

• Wrap the wool fully under the bandage to protect it from moisture

• Store the product in a dry place

• Finnsheep wool felts easily, especially during the first uses
  → It is recommended to place a thin piece of bandage between layers to make unwrapping easier

• The wrap can be gently pulled back into shape if needed

 

Product Lifespan & Sustainability

The wool contains a high amount of lanolin, which is gradually absorbed by the horse with each use.
With frequent use, the effective lifespan is approximately one month, depending on conditions and care.

Even after the lanolin has been absorbed:
